Air Team Specialist - Amsterdam (Maternity coverage with opportunity to extend into a permanent contract)
As member of the Air Team you will become a domain expert of GDS. You will learn all there is to know about fares, conditions, search requests, recommendations, flight features and much more. Not only for 1 GDS, but for multiple GDS’s. One of your responsibilities will be to ensure that fare and flight content for specific countries and brands is always up-to-date and relevant. You will also proactively use available analytical tools to monitor data for your countries and brands if all goes well. If not, an analysis process will be started by you, making use of advanced tools and a solution will be expected. Building upon existing relationships with external partners as airlines, GDS’s and LCC suppliers is an important part of your day. Internally you will work closely with pricing/analytics colleagues and contracting directors to ensure that the content is tuned to team and organizational policies. You will participate in relevant projects to ensure that the ‘air perspective’ is always taken into account. And of course you are always looking for opportunities to optimize the fare and flight content to remain the best in flights.
We are looking for candidates with the flexibility to start as a temporary employee and are interested and motivated to extend employment as Air Team Specialist after the maternity coverage.
Ensuring relevant fare and flight features content is shown in various sales channels
Do in-depth analyses on fare and flight features content performances
Execute price, capacity, performance, conversion checks
Use of analytical, monitoring tools to improve and optimize fare content
Signal and initiate opportunities to improve fare and flight features content
Improve on and deepen relationships with GDS’s, airlines and other suppliers
What you bring to the table
Bachelor or University degree in Travel & Tourism (Management)
You have 1 to 3 years of working experience in aviation / OTA
GDS knowledge is your bread and butter
You are ambitious, creative and a strong team player
You are proactive and are always looking for ways to innovate
You are result driven and have a commercial mindset
Fluent in English
