Air Team Specialist - Singapore


As member of the global Air Team you will become a domain expert of GDS. You will learn all there is to know about fares, conditions, search requests, recommendations, flight features and much more. One of your responsibilities will be to ensure that fare and flight content for specific countries and brands is always up-to-date and relevant. To achieve this you will make use of a cutting edge business rules tool. You will also proactively use available analytical tools to monitor data for your countries and brands if all goes well. If not, an analysis process will be started by you, making use of advanced tools and a solution will be expected. Building upon existing relationships with external partners as airlines, GDS’s and LCC suppliers is an important part of your day. Internally you will work closely with pricing colleagues and contracting directors to ensure that the content is tuned to team and organizational policies. You will participate in relevant projects to ensure that the ‘air perspective’ is always taken into account. And of course you are always looking for opportunities to optimize the fare and flight content to remain the best in flights. Your direct line of management will be based in Amsterdam and functional alignment is with the Regional Director Asia Pacific based in Singapore.


Your challenge:

  • Ensuring relevant fare and flight features content is shown in various sales channels

  • Do in-depth analyses on fare and flight features content performances

  • Execute fares, capacity, performance, conversion checks

  • Use of analytical, monitoring tools to improve and optimize fare content

  • Signal and initiate opportunities to improve fare and flight features content

  • Improve on and deepen relationships with GDS’s, airlines and other suppliers


What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor or University degree in Travel & Tourism (Management)

  • You have 1 to 3 years of working experience in aviation / OTA

  • GDS knowledge is your bread and butter

  • You are ambitious, creative and a strong team player

  • You are proactive and are always looking for ways to innovate

  • You are result driven and have a commercial mindset

  • Fluent in English

  • Mastered of the Travix Traits of Success
