As an Industry Relations Coordinator - Asia Pacific (Based from our office in Singapore) you are responsible for coordinating and Managing daily operational follow ups with Airlines and Consolidators across the Asia Pacific region.Assist the IR Director to negotiate contracts or special rates with Airlines or Consolidators. Internally, you will communicate closely with Pricing and Operations to implement required processes and strategies as negotiated with the airlines. Ensure all the commission contracts / Special deals are featured and priced competitively. Will coordinate with the Campaign and Content team with inputs for them to create campaigns for our airline partners.
You are required to coordinate with our airline partners and Consolidators to maintain the ongoing relationship and strive for better contracts and rates. You are data-driven in your setting of priorities and targets, and present results in a clear and objective manner to track the results at the end of every contract. Understanding of Airline business and Commission earning across the Asia Pacific region and also aware of the competition practices in the region will bean added advantage.
You operate from the regional Singapore-based team, liaising Pricing, Operations, Global Marketing, Consolidators and Airline partners to build relationship and implement daily operations requirements.
You know the Competition in Asia Pacific countries and are able to communicate and negotiate similar deals with Airlines and Consolidators. Internally update and communicate Pricing & Marketing with this practices.
You monitor sales performance to achieve results and targets as contracted with Airlines by coordinating with Pricing team.
What you bring to the role
Fluent English : both communicative and written.
Bachelor or Master Degree is desired
Experience in Airlines or Travel Agency sales is preferred
Working Knowledge of Amadeus or Any GDS
IATA Certified and aware of Airlines business is preferred
Understanding of Pricing, fares structures and Ticketing is an added advantage.
Flexible, proactive and inventive
Experience with Google Analytics is a plus
