Senior Chargeback Analyst - Amsterdam

In our Payments & Fraud Team we take great pride in our shift to putting Data at the heart of everything we do - hence you will be liaising with our Data-Science Team and with our External Payment partners and suppliers - ultimately ensuring Travix has best results through an adequate Chargeback management framework.

As a Senior Chargeback Analyst - at the core:

  • You will have a distinct and solid understanding of chargeback and dispute management and chargeback lifecycle

  • You have a track record of implementing strategies for improving Chargeback management win-rates (maximize revenue, minimize losses)

  • you will join our Shield Team: highly skilled & dedicated Fraud Prevention, Chargeback management and Data-Science professionals committed to Pioneering Excellence & powered by our Positive Passion to achieve great results.

  • You will support ensuring readiness of our Chargeback platform & framework aligned with Travix’s Global expansion & ambitions

  • You will be joining at a critical moment in time supporting 1st hand our transformational journey from manual processes to automated workflows powered by the latest technology.

  • You will be effectively empowered to assume ownership and responsibility over our Dispute management Framework & process committed to generating further stakeholder value and capture lost revenues.

Areas of responsibility:

  • Dispute & Chargeback management activities with Acquiring, Payment processing partners & Airline partners

  • Support implementing our Chargeback Management platform & workflow automation

  • Lead the transformational journey to putting Data & analytics at the core of our Chargeback management strategy

  • Take ownership and manage the end-to-end Chargeback management process & framework

  • Analyze Business-unit performance, trend analysis, benchmarking and prepare tactical execution plan on improvement areas

  • Actively engage cross-Team, Cross-Department to decrease overall Chargeback levels (fraud prevention, payments, technical, product, commercial Teams) - within acceptable Card-scheme program levels

  • Leading and managing our Chargeback Intern program

Qualifications & core competencies:

  • Analytics & critical (structured thinking) coupled with logical reasoning

  • Industry experience within Online Travel specifically or Payments vertical

  • Putting data at the heart of your business-unit

  • Leadership, coaching, team building skills -  support managing performance

  • Commitment to excellence, change management, strategic thinking

  • Self starter, self organizing, minimum supervision

  • 2-4 years working experience in a similar role

  • Education: BSc in Economics, Finance & Banks

  • Technical skills: Excel (Pivots & Functions), MySQL (nice to have)
