Head of Reporting and Compliance

Job Purpose

The Head of Reporting and Compliance will play a key role in preparing and coordinating Travix annual statutory financial statements (including necessary audits) and will support Group audit. The person will be an initial contact for the queries raised by the company’s auditors. The ideal candidate will also lead the monthly reporting process to the company's shareholder. The Head of Reporting and Compliance will have up to 2 direct reports and will cooperate with teams at various levels in the organization to ensure successful delivery of the required documentation/reconciliations including their quality control. Besides the daily routines, there is a strong focus on improving processes thus we are looking for a self-starter who is detailed, but can also take a step back to understand overall figures and processes. In this role you will be reporting to the Group Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • In charge of statutory reporting and audits for multiple legal entities
  • Support in the Group audit process
  • Coordination of internal group reporting process to the shareholder company
  • Ensure appropriate checks and controls are performed in the Accounting teams and that financial information is robust and aligned with various accounting regulations
  • Support other Accounting Managers to develop the teams’ financial controlling capabilities, driving for the continuous improvement of processes and systems
  • Participate in implementation and embedding of SOX controls
  • Involved in IT system improvement initiatives related to Accounting processes
  • Leading the team of up to 2 direct reports.

What you bring to the table

  • Completed Bachelor level, with extensive experience in accounting and audit process coordination – very good knowledge of IFRS
  • 7+ years of managerial experience in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong communicator who is pro-active, dynamic and willing to step in and help out when necessary
  • Accurate, analytical and an independent worker with multitask talent
  • A continuous improvement mindset unaccepting of the status quo and thinking out of the box
  • A strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to work with different cultures and across different levels of people
  • Team management experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English.
