Payment Specialist

As Travix Payment Specialist you will work as part of the Payment Operations team and report to the Payment Operations Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the payment operations which sits at the core of our products, taking ownership of monitoring and improving their performance while working closely with colleagues in your team and in the wider payments, fraud and chargeback area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and use data to drive improvement and identify new opportunities.
  • Ownership of the daily administration of the Payment Operations team from managing incoming requests and troubleshooting with other internal teams
  • Work closely with payment service providers, international payment acquirers, to ensure smooth operation of our payment flow.
  • Support the team to deliver against key initiatives.
  • Actively initiate improvements to the payment processes and systems.
  • Compare and take proactive action based acquirer performance.
  • Identify innovative ideas to improve the customer experience of the payment process.
  • Identify & support implementation of alternative payment methods in mature or emerging markets.

What you bring to the table

  • Ambitious and curious online payment professional who prefers to work in a high volume & high paced e-commerce environment.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills - Ability to turn data into insight.
  • Strong knowledge of online payment operations, authorization processes and global alternative payment methods.
  • Experience in an international e-commerce environment or payment services provider.
  • Bachelor or Master level in Finance, Economics or another relevant study.
  • Strong communication skills in English language, both verbally and written.
