Job Purpose

Content is king! Speedy, relevant fare and flight content greatly attributes to a positive customer experience. As such, the Global AIR Team is a pivotal team within Travix. We focus on search and sourcing of flight content, and on all ‘air-related’ items and issues in the booking flow. In doing so we connect and interact with multiple partners and teams. Externally, we work with GDSs, airlines, LCC suppliers and META partners. Internally we connect with Industry Relations, Pricing, Commerce, Business Operations, Finance, Product&Tech and Data teams, among others.

The team ensures relevant content is always shown on all sales channels of the Travix and partner brands. We use monitoring and analytical tools to make sure our cutting-edge business rules engine is always fed with up-to-date data and efficient search logic. We have become the best in flights, and we aim to remain in that position by constantly developing and pushing ourselves. As a result of all these collaborations, of our involvement and our leading role in all air-related items, as well as the need to optimize the team structure, we are looking for an Air Supply Analyst.

We are looking for a candidate with strong GDS knowledge and a good understanding of online booking flow, specifically on sourcing and search. You have experience in working with analytical tools and data sets or take at least an active interest in working with analytical tools and data sets. One of the responsibilities will be to ensure that fare and flight content for specific countries and brands is always up-to-date and relevant. For this, the candidate will proactively use available data to monitor country and brand performance and if needed, intervene using advanced analytical tools.

Internally, the candidate will work within the Global AIR Team with other Air Supply Professionals and Air Supply Analysts in various offices. You will also work closely with Pricing colleagues, Contracting Directors, Commercial Managers, and various IT teams to ensure that fare and flight content is tuned to the team and organizational policies. You will be involved in air-related projects and your significant contribution is expected. And of course, the candidate is always looking for opportunities to optimize the fare and flight content processes to remain the best in flights. The Air Supply Analyst will be a direct report of the Air Supply Team Lead in Amsterdam.
