Job Purpose

As the SEO manager at Travix, your primary objective is to own, drive and support the strategic development and execution of search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives for multiple travel brands (e.g. Cheaptickets; Flugladen, BudgetAir,). You will be responsible for driving organic traffic, acquisition, and conversion through on-page optimization, technical SEO, and content optimization, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee search engine marketing (SEM) initiatives across focus markets (BLX, DACH, FR), with a focus on organic search (SEO) 
  • Experiment and implement search engine strategies (SEO), including on-page optimization, technical SEO, and content optimization, to improve organic search visibility and rankings.
  • Drive brand authority and awareness by increasing the number of quality inbound links and brand mentions per month, leverage data-driven storytelling to generate assets and content that drive awareness and authority.
  • Optimize website content/internal links in all segments to increase SEO visibility
  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics, such as click-through rate (CTR), conversion rates, and keyword rankings, to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Create a structured approach to discuss and address SEO performance and actions across focus markets, with the local marketing managers
  • Work closely with the Brand, Product, Pricing, E-Com and Data team to develop initiatives born out of consumer, market and/ or channel performance insights

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor Degree in Performance/ Content Marketing or related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role in Search/ SEO, preferably in travel/air industry, FMCG or scale-up
  • Proven track record in search engine marketing, execution and optimization, with a track record of driving acquisition, conversion, and revenue.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Dutch, French or German is a pre
