Product Owner Ancillary

Job Purpose

As a Product Owner, you need to have the ability to strategize, plan and manage the product delivery from start to finish, ensuring what the team builds meets the customer's needs. You are detail-oriented, data-driven and have excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. You have strong interpersonal skills, and are able to work in a cross-functional team  – you will work closely with other product owners, development team, product analysts, design, marketing and the rest of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze market and competitive conditions
  • Contributing and processing of the vision and developing a product roadmap, new features, defining epics and user stories, while taking into account the business needs and external developments, in close consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Owning your products end to end, from ideation, through development, launch, growth and maintenance
  • Monitor performance of your products (both technical and commercial) and identify improvement opportunities
  • Creates and evaluate business cases for your initiatives and prioritize initiatives accordingly 
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with other product owners, development team(s), designers, analyst, marketing and rest of the business
  • Responsible for building, editing, maintaining and prioritization of Team’s Product Backlog
  • Working closely with the dev team to ensure requirements are clear and solutions are ultimately delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner 
  • Responsible for accepting final iteration plans
  • Validates stories, meet acceptance criteria and comply with the Definition of Done, assuring a level of quality
  • Project management and stakeholder management 
  • Coordination of dependencies with other teams

What you bring to the table

  • At least 3 years experience of working as a product owner or similar role
  • Strong product management project management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Experience of working with onshore & offshore engineering teams 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to rapidly evolving and changing business priorities
  • A result driven team player with a “get it done attitude” 
  • Experience in A/B testing 
  • Outstanding communication (written & verbal), presentation and leadership skills.
  • Technical acumen and Business savvy
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Attention to details and ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential.
