Job Purpose

Your key goals are to 

  • Develop and implement effective product strategies to attract new customers, ensuring a focus on targeted acquisition efforts aligned with business goals.
  • Develop products and features in the customer journey, aiming to enhance loyalty and satisfaction among existing customers and to attract new customers.
  • Identify development opportunities to optimize user engagement, driving strategies that keep customers actively involved with products and services.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the Acquisition & Retention roadmap, aligned with organizational and strategic objectives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate a comprehensive product strategy with a product roadmap that outlines the direction of Acquisition & Retention, aligned with business objectives from commercial and marketing business stakeholders.
  • Ownership of roadmap & plans for home and content pages
  • Develop and implement products to achieve personalized approaches to customer interactions to drive customer retention.
  • Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback and data into the product development, customer experience and marketing processes.
  • Establish and monitor key metrics, regularly assessing performance and iterating strategies based on results.
  • Develop and conduct A/B tests and experiments to validate and improve features to drive conversion and improve the customer experience.
  • Monitor customer interaction and feedback to continuously optimize  
  • Creates and actively nurtures product backlog together with the team of software engineers
  • Follows usage, adoption and performance of products
  • Closely collaborate with business owners, other Product Owners, design teams and development teams
  • Coordinate dependencies with other teams
  • Generate new ideas that will achieve key objectives for the product line and business.
  • Validate if stories meet acceptance criteria and comply with the Definition of Done

What you bring to the table

  • You are passionate about delivering online support to our customers, balancing costs, risks and customer experience.
  • At least 5 years experience of working as a product owner
  • Must have demonstrated e-commerce experience
  • Great at stakeholder management in order to drive better results from collaboration
  • Ability to facilitate communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders
  • Solid Agile experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business, IT or Economics
  • Ability to research & deliver complex business requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in e-commerce, high volume websites
  • Knowledge and experience in using data sources eg Google Analytics
  • Ability to quickly adapt to rapidly evolving and changing business priorities
  • A result driven team player
  • A data driven approach towards problem-solving
  • Great communication and presentation skills, able to tailor messages to a variety of audiences
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential
