For our IT Systems Support Engineering department (EPICS), we are recruiting a Systems Support Engineer for our office in Bangalore.
As a Systems Support Engineer, you are the first point of contact of IT for our internal stakeholders, listening to their requirements, finding a suitable solution, Effectively you are pushing innovation internally and seeing it through end to end.

Your challenges:

  • Understanding what your customers are looking for
  • Ensure continues IT Operations to all Travix business functions by providing 1st & 2nd IT support. The office is in Bangalore, but we provide IT support, improvements & maintenance also for Berlin, Oosterhout, London, Amsterdam, Singapore, etc.  
  • Ability to prioritize, investigate and troubleshoot 1st + 2nd line issues. Optimize IT processes.
  • Managing improvements for IT equipment (working stations - PCs, laptops, mobile devices, etc) and software according to company policies.
  • Ensuring Customer/Client Service Quality
  • Improving end-user productivity by access to professional support service
  • 24/7 support, 365 days divided in shifts

What you bring to the table:

  • Graduate in Computer Science/Engineering
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in computer engineering, systems administration, engineering support or consulting.
  • Disciplined, Self-driven and focused on getting results, love to automate manual tasks.
  • Quickly learn new things and adapting to change.
  • Ability to communicate with different groups of people; Focus on Customer Satisfaction
  • Awareness of security procedures within IT
  • Initial network troubleshooting knowledge
  • Knowledge of Windows, Chrome & Mac Operating Systems, experience with hardware 
  • Knowledge of Google Apps (GSuite), Active Directory, Remote Desk Service and how SAML SSO works
  • Good written and spoken English
