CRM Manager

Are you passionate about turning customer data into personalized, high-converting CRM campaigns? Do you thrive on setting sharp targets and measuring your way to results? As CRM Manager, you’ll lead the strategy and performance of our customer lifecycle campaigns — translating insights into action, and content into conversions — all while keeping a close eye on KPIs like engagement, retention, and revenue contribution.

Position Overview:

The CRM Manager is responsible for driving customer engagement, loyalty, and retention through performance-led lifecycle campaigns. In this role, you’ll lead our direct channel CRM efforts — managing the campaign calendar, content strategy, as well as managing e-mail and automation campaigns

You will own performance across CRM KPIs, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion, and retention, and bring a test-and-learn mindset to everything you do. This role blends customer-centricity with commercial acumen and is ideal for someone who loves creating value at scale through data-informed content and messaging.

Key goals

  • Increase repeat bookings and lifetime value through high-performing CRM campaigns
  • Lead CRM reporting and performance optimization based on concrete data and goals
  • Develop testing strategies (A/B, multivariate, subject lines, content formats, segmentation) to improve conversion and engagement
  • Translate CRM analytics into clear recommendations and monthly reporting to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the strategy and planning of CRM lifecycle campaigns: welcome, pre-departure, post-booking, reactivation, loyalty and win-back
  • Manage and execute high-quality, personalized campaigns at scale
  • Deliver best in class content strategies to maximize the engagement on campaigns
  • Develop and manage reporting dashboards across all CRM KPIs: open rates, CTRs, CVRs, unsubscribes, revenue per send, churn, and engagement rate
  • Define benchmarks and targets, and deliver performance updates and insights to stakeholders
  • Use customer segmentation, behavior, and booking patterns to personalize messaging and timing
  • Coordinate closely with eCom, Performance, Pricing and Product teams to align messaging across the full customer journey
  • Run structured A/B tests and develop hypotheses to continuously improve content and timing
  • Ensure smooth campaign delivery across multiple languages and markets.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing
  • Proven track record of improving CRM performance metrics with a data-driven approach
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with campaign dashboards, segmentation logic, and performance models
  • Experience working with agencies or in-house email teams
  • Knowledge of CRM platforms, lifecycle journey mapping, and campaign automation
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
  • Bonus: background in travel, e-commerce, or subscription-based business.

What you can expect from us

  • Enjoy the flexibility and life balance of hybrid work, where each team aligns on their minimum number of days in office to foster collaboration and meet the team's needs.
