Trip/Travix Partnership Lead

Job Purpose

As Travix continues to deepen its integration and collaboration with Trip.com Group, we are seeking a highly motivated Partnership Lead to serve as a critical liaison between the Travix Amsterdam and Trip Shanghai offices. This role is instrumental in ensuring cross-border alignment and execution across business, operational, and technical functions, particularly within the Flights business unit and will start to report directly to Travix CEO, Casper Maasdam. Your location will be in Shanghai, China and occasional travel to Amsterdam, Netherlands will be required. 
You will act as a bridge between Travix and Trip.com teams, facilitating day-to-day collaboration on content supply, product development, pricing initiatives, and other core processes. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese, manage project deliverables, and navigate the complexities of Online Travel Agency (OTA) and airline supply will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Travix and Trip.com teams for flight supply, operational processes, and product integration.
  • Support end-to-end execution of improvement initiatives and coordinate, chase and unblock day to day activities by coordinating with internal teams such as Business Development, Product, Content Operations, Data teams, and Pricing.
  • Track key projects from scoping to delivery, ensuring tasks stay on timeline with regular progress updates to stakeholders in both Europe and China.
  • Facilitate clear and proactive communication across teams to manage expectations, resolve bottlenecks, and highlight risks early.
  • Represent and promote Travix’s priorities and needs in local Trip.com forums and internal meetings.
  • Work hands-on in Shanghai to independently drive tasks and solve problems during European off-hours.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of Trip OTA flight content acquisition and delivery processes (eg. GDS, NDC integration, LCC aggregators, consolidator supply, and related commercial models). Identify and raise content and commercial improvement opportunities for Travix.
  • Assist in optimizing cross-functional workflows and identifying inefficiencies in current operating models.
  • Contribute to operational business alignment between Travix and Trip.com, ensuring consistent understanding and execution across both organizations.

What you bring to the table

  • 3+ years of experience in the Online Travel Agency (OTA), airline, Global Distribution System (GDS), or airline content aggregator/consolidator space.
  • Strong knowledge of air supply ecosystems (eg. BSP, GDS/NDC, LCC integrations, and OTA merchandising flows).
  • Familiarity with OTA product features such as flight search, display logic, ancillaries etc.
  • Proven project and stakeholder management skills; experience handling multi-stakeholder, cross-border initiatives is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken).
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and capable of working independently under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to build key relationships and influence both within Trip & Travix plus ability to align technical and commercial teams across regions.
  • Agile and adaptable, comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
  • Based in Shanghai with willingness to travel occasionally to Amsterdam and to work across multiple time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with or within Trip.com Group or other global OTA.
  • Background in business operations, strategic projects, or partner-facing roles involving cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with a “get-things-done” mindset.
